John Zorn's Virtue!

Hi everyone,

Anyone listening to this show over the time know that I love me some Zorn. Here's some online description of this wonderful new record: featuring "the three acoustic guitars of Bill Frisell, Gyan Riley and Julian Lage, 'Virtue' is inspired by Julian of Norwich, one of the founders of Christian mysticism, portrayed through twelve succinct Zorn compositions of beautifully lyrical contrapuntal interplay and transcendental reflection."

Even if you knew none of that, you'll love this album! Lose yourself from these days of rage & sickness, just for a little while.

Brian Eno's & Roger Eno's Mixing Colours!

Hi everyone,

These famous brothers have ever released a duo album before, but glad the wait! Roger would create the tunes on the piano, send them to Brian, & he would give them an electronic sheen, while riding on the train. It's calm in the storm, lovely, strange calm . . .

Future Sound of London's Yage 2019!

Hi everyone,

Back in 1996, FSOL released an album called Dead Cities. Wonderful ambient beauty, sweet, fine, strange. One of its great songs, "Yage," served as the basis for this new album, which served as basis for the eleven tracks on this new album. Wow! And wonderful! Another great record to groove through the pandemic :)
