The Future Sound Of London - Environment 6.5!

Hi everyone,

FSOL continues to make old school electronica that sounds fresh and new. Their sound over the years is like a single river running through many landscapes, changing, staying, a beautiful thing. Turn on, tune in, dream away with FSOL & me . . .

Chemical Brothers' Dig Your Own Hole!

Hi everyone,

After a detour to visit with Johnny Cash for a few shows, and loving that, back to the ol' electronica. And here is the 1997 release from The Chemical Brothers, Dig Your Own Hole. End to end crazy fun, including vocals by Beth Orton and Noel Gallagher. It's like an electronic suite or symphony and listening to the first track means listening to them all. I liked it then, liked it as much now. Wanna know how this electronica stuff works when it works super well? Dig this record.

The Man in Black (American Recordings Vol IV-VI)!

Hi everyone,

The last three volumes of Johnny Cash's American series were hung over pretty heavily by Cash's worsening health. Not every song was about death, but it was certainly on his mind more obviously. I've picked an hour of songs, about a half-dozen from each of the volumes. Covers, originals, remakes of his own early works. Bit of everything. May we all live so far into our lives while still so engaged in the meaningful work of living. Enjoy :)
